I hope everyone is having a good start to the new year! I wanted to write a blog post on different things you can try out to help you live a better 2017.
I love when a new year comes, it is like a fresh new page where you can start something new or continue persisting on something you are already doing!
One of the most important things throughout life that will really help you, no not money (but it is helpful!) it is your happiness. I am not one for being positive all the time, in fact I am more the opposite but this year is the year I am going to change all that and look at life from a different perspective.
The things that make you happy revolve around mentality and physicality. Here are a few things I am going to work on this year:
- Everyday write down 3-5 things I am grateful for that happened that day
- Relax the mind
- Push any negative thoughts away and concentrate on all the good things
- Make time for more sleep
- Get creative
- Exercise everyday (running, cycling, rowing, boxing, gym class, etc…)
- Eat well!
- Try out new activities (jet skiing, skate boarding, surfing, etc…)
And there are many more I can try and so can you!
It is also good to keep a routine going throughout the week to allow yourself that happiness time where you can go do something that will make you happy.
Have fun with others too, which will allow you to spend time with your friends and family and enjoy yourselves at the same time. But try to do things alone too so you can do things that make you really happy despite being on your own.
Maybe try and set yourself a goal too like:
- Running a half marathon
- Doing yoga
- Building something
- Creating a piece of art
- Writing a book
- Developing a business
- Cook home made food
- Getting your drivers license
- Saving up so much to go travelling
- AND MANY MORE
There a so many things you can do to make you happy but also develop certain skills and knowledge
