Orange Facts

I love this fruit! It is a brilliant snack and is so refreshing! But what I really hate is when they have pips in that’s why I do prefer clementines or tangerines. I have a thing with pips in fruit it makes me go funny and I just hate it ha!

This fruit contains minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium and phosphorous. They are a great source of vitamin C.

They’re great for:

  • Digestion
  • Cardiovascular Health
  • Immune System
  • Bone Strength
  • Contration and Relaxation of Muscles

It is believed to originate from the twentieth century by a French missionary in Algiers. Since then this fruit has been gaining great popularity. Most of their production happens in Morocco due to the perfect climate.

These fruits can be stored in the fridge or in a fruit bowl.

Clementines and oranges can be used in recipes to give things a lovely orange taste. They’re great in cakes or even in some main dishes like a stir fry. Also, I highly suggest making your own orange juice out of fresh oranges.

Have a nice day

H xx
